Leutenegger + Frei AG under new ownership
After 66 years, a new era is beginning at L+F. Siblings Erich Leutenegger and Christine Leutenegger are placing the future of Leutenegger + Frei AG in the hands of the new owners, Sandra and Stefan Matti from Kirchberg SG. The Leutenegger family is delighted that the succession process has been successfully completed and that this solution secures the long-term future of the long-established company.
Stefan Matti has been working at Leutenegger + Frei AG since 2017 and has been CEO of the company for over two years. With the complete takeover of the company, he and his wife are ensuring the successful development of the company in Andwil SG. "We can count on an excellent team here, who share our philosophy and whose tremendous commitment to the company we greatly appreciate. We want to carry the tradition and customer focus that have made Leutenegger + Frei AG a unique company in the market over the last 66 years into the future and develop it further with our ideas. In the interests of continuity, we are retaining both the L+F brand and the Andwil SG location. Together with our employees, these stand for innovation, quality, and outstanding service," says Stefan Matti.
Ambitious goals for the future
Other goals include expanding internationalization, further developing the latest plant control systems, and expanding after-sales services. The aim is to provide long-term support at all levels to customers in the surface technology and bakery industries. As a full-service provider of customized and innovative plant concepts, L+F will also focus its product development on digitalization, automation, energy optimization, and plant networking.
In the future, L+F will continue to provide new innovations for its diverse customer base, and stakeholders can count on cooperative business relationships. “We will continue to uphold the company's traditions and values, but at the same time we want to make room for new ideas. This will ensure a successful future for Leutenegger + Frei AG,” say the new owners, Sandra and Stefan Matti, with conviction.
