The oven is never off here

Interview with Roland Benz, Sales Manager at Leutenegger + Frei AG. If you can bake bread, you can also heat metal – that's the conclusion the Leutenegger + Frei company in Andwil, Switzerland, came to in the 1970s.

Previously specialising in the manufacture of ovens, the company successfully transferred its expertise to the industrial sector in the following years. Today, the company is an internationally recognised specialist in the production of ovens, as well as powder coating and paint finishing systems.

Since 1957, Leutenegger + Frei has been designing, developing, and producing rack ovens, deck ovens, and retarder-provers for the bakery industry.
The same has been happening since the 70s in the field of surface technology for powder coating and painting systems with a high degree of vertical integration and as a complete supplier including transport systems.

Energy efficiency and customer proximity have always been important to Leutenegger + Frei. Furthermore, digitisation towards 4.0 is being strongly advanced, which will create real added value for the customer, for example in the area of quality assurance.

Leutenegger + Frei will continue to achieve growth and further expand its market position based on its know-how and the quality of its facilities.
