Future Day at L+F

On 9 November, the day arrived:
On Future Day, we opened our doors to curious children. They were able to get a taste of various professions, play „Operation,“ and even build their own raclette oven!

8 children visited us on November 9th for Future Day 2023.
Following the motto «Role Swap,» we invited girls and boys to gain insight into unfamiliar areas and to question common preconceptions about what women and men are supposedly good at or not good at. The Sales department was the first on the agenda. There, the children learned exactly what we produce and sell. Afterwards, they were able to design their very own first oven in the Design department (a small raclette oven), which was then laser-cut, bent, and painted in the afternoon. They also had the chance to dive into the Electrical department, where they built their own „hot wire“ game. This required a lot of dexterity to solder the different wires together. Tired and full of new ideas about what they might learn later in life, the day already came to an end.
